The first campus of Shams London Academy (SLA) was launched at Khair Khana, Kabul in 2007. In the prevailing environments in the country, laying the foundation of an education system designed & tailored for modern education was a very bold step. SLA being the pioneers of modern education in the region, met with an immediate success. The second academy at Mukroryan, Kabul was launched in 2008. A repeated performance of success proved a booster of morale for higher management and the staff. Third academy commenced its first academic session in 2009 at Jalalabad.
SLA got approval in 2004 & started in 2008 whereas presently running 12 branches. Our first ever branch was on ground in 2007 at Khair Khana in Kabul. The second branch started functioning in the year 2008 at Mukroryan, Kabul. Third was at Jalalabad and was inaugurated in 2009. Likewise, new branches were introduced at regular intervals, and now we have 12 branches successfully serving the nation in the field of education.
With the mission of at least forty academies spread throughout the country, even in the remote and far flung areas, the untiring and dedicated efforts of the SLA team will Insha-Allah continue and contribute towards the advancement of Afghanistan.
